For my EV charger, Triad installed 240V, 50A circuit breaker, 50A wiring, and NEMA 14-50 outlet & wall box, and cleaned up in less than two hours!Everything was seamless from the first phone call to schedule a free estimate to the inspection. We had three technicians sent out to hang 2 fans (15-foot ceiling), a chandelier (18-foot ceiling), two garage LED four-foot light fixtures on a 15-foot ceiling, two flush-mount light fixtures in hallway and a room, add a dimmer switch, and repair a short and replace bulbs for corner-mount exterior floodlights. All of the work was accomplished in three hours and the quality of the work, and the courtesy of the electricians, was outstanding. They sought our input on placement, hanging height, and location of furniture they needed to move out of the way. We give them our highest recommendation - A+ on all categories for this type of job. We plan to have them return for some additional work as soon as it can be scheduled.

All aspects of the process have been first class, from Harvey coming to evaluate our circuit breaker box for correct voltage for an EV charger, to the 2 guys that installed the hard wired charger, All were very knowledgeable and efficient. The installers were polite and their work was very professional. They completed the EV installation well ahead of my expectations. The first company told me they would have to cut a hole in my drywall but they would not fix it. Triad installers ONLY fished the cable through a clean small hole where they installed a junction box. What is the difference between a Level 1 & Level 2 EV Charger?
Level 1 is using a standard 120-volt electrical outlet that you will find in your garage. This limits you to 3-5 miles of charging per hour and is the slowest charging option.
Level 2 is charging with a 240-volt circuit. This requires professional installation of either a NEMA 14-50 outlet or a hardwired charging station. This increasing your charging rate significantly so you can easily recharge your vehicle overnight. This is your fastest charging option within your home.

Which Level 2 charger should I buy?
There are several charger manufacturers that we highly recommend based on reliability, quality, and pricing.

How much will my Level 2 charger installation cost?
Most standard installations range from $899 to $1,700. This does not include the actual price of a Level 2 charger (about $500 to $800 depending on the model).
